 General Information

At Byron Bay First National Real Estate we believe that information is the key to making correct decisions. Our aim, through our website, is to provide as much useful, objective and clear information as possible so that your choice of holiday home, permanent rental property or home purchase is made easier.

As of May 2006, our site has been re-designed and we are now a work in progress with new features being added regularly.

Our site is maintained daily, so price changes and new listings are added all the time. We have the largest range of rental properties and properties for sale in the Byron Bay area and we have been Byron Bay's leading agent for more than a decade.

Our sales team have a market share of more than 35% in the area and we pride ourselves on always listing and selling more properties than any other company.

We are blessed to live and work in this part of the world. We not only appreciate all the special features of our region; we would like to share some of them with you on our site. We have a long term commitment to the sporting and cultural events in the region and our website endeavours to emphasise these features and publicise many of the events, particularly festivals that occur throughout the year.

Who are Byron Bay First National Real Estate? We are 22 people who work hard and are proud of the company we work in. We are a varied cross section of people, some born and bred in the area and others – like so many of our community – have moved here after falling in love with the place on a holiday.

We all share a strong work ethic and a high commitment to excellent customer care and service. We believe in real teamwork and regular training to improve our skills and knowledge. We welcome feedback and advice and we want to help in any way we can with any of your real estate needs.

If this is your first time to our website then let me point out some of our special features:
· Book lists
· Unique precinct market reports
· Festival list
· Surf spots
· Schools

For us…Byron Bay is all about the sea. There are few places where the ocean and the sand meet in such pristine conditions. A paddle to Julian Rocks or to Little Wategos on a clear day is magical, with striped fish and sea turtles and dolphins feeding. Byron Bay is only a walk to the lighthouse. Once you get up the stairs and past Australia's most easterly point; to sit under the beautiful old white lighthouse commissioned in 1900 and to take in the view, is as good as it gets… anywhere in the world.

If food is your weakness then a weekly visit to The Farmers Market will bring you undone. Bread, fruit, juices and herbs - everything is here brought down from the red soil hills of the hinterland. It is also a wonderful way to get a feel for our community, as is reading the Byron Shire Echo or having a drink at the Railway Friendly Bar.

If fitness and health are your focus, we defy anyone to find more yoga classes per head of population anywhere in the world.
