General Information
Bushlands Tourist Park lies beside the rich gold bearing Long Creek in the historic village of Windeyer, in the picturesque hills of Central West NSW.
Relax under leafy shade trees in this tranquil grassy haven and enjoy watching the abundant bird life and local native animals. Bushlands is a dog friendly park, but pets must be kept on a lead at all times and please clean up after them.
Bushlands has en-suite and standard cabins, powered sites, and camping areas near the camp kitchen, which has an electric BBQ and ample tables and seating. The large amenities block houses toilets, showers, and laundry facilities and also has an extensive library, with plenty of games to entertain.
The General Store is well stocked and open 8am to 8pm daily, with groceries, ice, internet, fax & photocopying, and gas bottle service. Gold fossicking equipment and videos/DVDs can be hired at the shop too.
Bushlands Tourist Park has a wonderful old historic dance hall with stage and kitchen for hire for functions, meetings or conferences with a difference!
Next door is the ‘Gold & Fleece Hotel’, where the atmosphere is always warm and friendly, with great meals served Thursday to Sunday.
Bushlands Tourist Park is just 40km from Mudgee, famous for top quality wines, olives, and honey. Wine tasting tours to a variety of unique wineries can be arranged through the Mudgee Visitors Centre.
