General Information
"Corang " is a luxurious, comfortable and spacious family farmhouse, where we have lived for 48 years and raised our 5 children, now all married. We have 10 grandchildren.
It is now a 4 Star, Nationally Accredited Traditional B&B/Homestay offering 4 lovely rooms, all with private bathrooms, private sitting room, shared with other guests, or sole use, by arrangement if you wish. It is air-conditioned, has large windows, separate entrance, deck, gazebo and bird-filled gardens overlooking lovely rural views.
For your enjoyment there is a snack cupboard, bar 'fridge, stocked with complimentary champagne and beer, cheese & nibbles and home made chocolates. There is fruit cake, a fresh fruit bowl, juice, water & milk.
We want you to enjoy your stay.
For your entertainment, there is a Stereo, TV and Library. For your comfort, a lovely lounge suite and interesting magazines.
We will entertain you over complimentary pre-dinner drinks and serve a meal of your choice in your Louis XV private dining room. Local Hilltops award-winning wines are available for your enjoyment.
After travelling the world for many years, we now invite the world to visit us.
Our air-conditioned homestead is set in extensive bird filled gardens with expansive lawns and flower gardens. It has spacious indoor and outdoor entertaining areas, including an in-ground salt water swimming pool, barbeque area with large hooded barbeque under a shady pergola, gazebo and a tennis court. We have a gas Patio Heater for cosiness.
We are surrounded by sheep and cattle studs and picturesque, undulating pastoral scenery. There is usually a friendly horse or two in the house paddock and always two sheep dogs, one cat and cocky as well as our pet sheep "Mama", who escaped and missed the last muster! She has had company lately and should soon produce a lamb!
You will enjoy walking under the stars in the evening when the sky is brilliant. There is nearly always a cool breeze at night and the quietness will amaze you.
